As Director of Research and Development for Vitamin Research Products, Dr. Ward Dean advises the company on matters of health, nutrition, medicine and product formulation. A world-renowned expert in anti-aging and life extension, Dr. Ward Dean has served on the Board of Directors of the American Aging Association, the founding Board of Directors of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and was Vice-President of the International College of Advanced Longevity Medicine (ICALM).

He has written extensively on the biology of aging and has co-authored the best sellers, Smart Drugs & Nutrients, Smart Drugs II: The Next Generation, the critically-acclaimed, Neuroendocrine Theory of Aging and Degenerative Disease, and GHB: The Natural Mood Enhancer. Dr. Ward Dean is perhaps best known for his pioneering work on developing means to measure the physiological and biochemical effects of aging as well as developing revolutionary nutritional and pharmacological protocols to delay aging and ameliorate age-related diseases.

Dr. Ward Dean is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. He is a former infantry officer with combat service as an advisor to the Vietnamese Rangers on the Cambodian border and has served as an instructor at the U. S. Army Mountain Ranger School in north Georgia. After graduating from Han Yang University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Ward Dean spent seven years as an Army Flight Surgeon and Diving Medical Officer including three years as a member of the Delta Force.
